Professional wrestler Amber Nova was arrested in Florida after allegedly driving under the influence.

An Orlando Police officer had observed the vehicle traveling “at a high rate of speed,” struggling to “maintain its lane” and pulling over a crosswalk at an intersection before the officer intervened and pulled the vehicle over, authorities said.
“As I approached the vehicle, I immediately detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from within the vehicle,” one officer wrote in the complaint. “I also observed that the Defendant's eyes were watery and glassy.”
Though the 34-year-old initially told officers she was coming from the bar with her friends, she later changed her account, per the complaint, saying that she hadn’t been inside the bars and had only driven by them. Then authorities said she claimed that she had “attended house parties.”

One of the officers noticed her wearing a “green wrist ticket” from an establishment known to serve alcoholic beverages.
“I asked the Defendant whether she had consumed any alcoholic beverages,” the officer wrote. “She initially denied consuming alcohol but later stated that she had consumed red wine earlier in the evening while cooking at home. The Defendant initially stated that she had consumed one glass of wine but later admitted to consuming more than one glass.”
During the interaction, authorities said Nova “repeatedly asked” that the officer “follow her home to ensure she arrived safely,” adding that she only lived two miles away, according to the court documents.

Nova agreed to perform field sobriety exercises including the horizontal gaze nystagmus, walk-and-turn and one-legged stand at the scene. Officers said her speech was slow and she appeared unsteady while walking.
“Based on the totality of the circumstances, I established probable cause to believe that the Defendant was in actual physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or chemical substances to the extent that her normal faculties were impaired,” the officer wrote in the complaint. “I placed the Defendant under arrest for Driving Under the Influence and secured her in handcuffs.”

At the DUI testing center, authorities said Nova repeatedly refused to perform a blood alcohol level test.
The wrestler is now facing charges of driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a blood alcohol level test.
It’s unclear whether she has retained an attorney as none was listed in her court records. Oxygen reached out to Nova, but did not receive an immediate response.
