The actor-turned-racer is already looking ahead to 2027, hoping to build on his experience in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series while expanding his opportunities in sports car racing.

Muniz recently won the GT4 America Am Class championship alongside co driver Tyler Stone, giving him the first professional racing title of his career. That success has opened new doors, but he has made it clear that his NASCAR journey is far from over.

Although Muniz has not finalized his 2027 schedule, he has confirmed that he intends to compete in the Truck Series in some capacity next season. A full time return remains possible, but a part-time schedule is also on the table.

Muniz currently drives the No. 33 Ford for Team Reaume, and he indicated that he would like to continue working with team owner Josh Reaume if he returns to NASCAR.

The 2026 campaign has been difficult for Muniz, who has struggled to consistently challenge the series' leading drivers. However, he believes he has improved significantly since beginning his stock car career.

Muniz has emphasized that he still has unfinished business in NASCAR and wants to see better results after dedicating so much time to developing his racing skills.

Muniz's championship success in GT4 America has given him another direction to explore. He enjoyed competing in the Ford Mustang GT4 and has expressed interest in pursuing opportunities with more powerful GT3 machinery.

Sports car racing is expected to play a larger role in his 2027 schedule. Balancing multiple series could mean fewer Truck Series appearances, although Muniz has not ruled out racing full-time.

His championship-winning season demonstrated that he can compete for victories when he finds the right environment and gains confidence in the car.

Despite his success in sports cars, Muniz continues to enjoy the intensity of NASCAR racing. The close competition and physical demands of the Truck Series remain a major attraction.

The biggest question is how his schedule will come together and whether he can turn his experience into better results.

For 2027, Muniz hopes to continue growing in both disciplines. His exact plans remain uncertain, but one thing is clear: he is not giving up on NASCAR yet.
