Felines’ love for their favorite human cannot be described in a few words. They often want their beloved owners to treat them as top priorities. A recent social media post has perfectly captured this instance. The video shows a cat named Cleo who sits on her favorite human’s laptop case to stop him from going to work.
A user named @cleothecitykitty took to their Instagram to share this heart-melting moment. The page follows the adventures of the fur baby who is “a sassy lady.”
Cat has a clever strategy for keeping her favorite human home
In the above-mentioned video, the cat clings to her human’s laptop case so as not to let him head to work. Cleo rests on the case when her dad comes to pet her, trying to convince her to get off.
The human gives her soft scratches and politely asks her to return the case to him, as he needs it for work. However, the feline meows and rejects his advances as she doesn’t want him to leave. The paw parent signals Cleo to leave, but she remains firm in her decision.
He keeps requesting the Persian cat, Cleo, who has made up her mind to let him go. The human tries his best to grab the case while the cat moves him back with her light slaps on the hand. Cleo curiously stares at her dad and throws her paws up to stop him, leaving the mom, who is recording the scene, chuckling.
The playful tussle continues, but eventually the dad manages to retrieve his laptop case. The human thanks the cat and leaves after giving her another pet. Further, Cleo looks around and leaves after realizing her plan has failed.
Netizens shared their reactions to the wholesome video, with one saying, “You should let it win once and stay home. Bet they would be so happy.” Another user commented, “This cat is the cutest and should get their way every time. I am their lawyer.” A third netizen wrote, “She’s so cute, she clearly loves him.”
