Along with the racetrack, Lewis Hamilton has also been busy with something far cuter than lap times. It has four legs, a fluffy golden coat, and a lot of charm. The Ferrari driver recently opened up about the surprise he arranged for Kim Kardashian’s kids, and the newest family member is already winning hearts online.
Lewis Hamilton gifted Kim Kardashian’s kids with an adorable new family member
The reveal came during a stage session with Charles Leclerc, which Formula 1 shared on TikTok under the caption “wholesome hour with [C]harles and [L]ewis.” The host asked what brings Lewis Hamilton joy outside of racing. He began with his relatives. “My niece and nephew always give me a lot of happiness,” he said.
Then he turned to Kim Kardashian’s children. “My girlfriend’s kids, I love spending time with them,” Hamilton continued, before noting, “She’s got four!” That means plenty of playtime for the seven-time world champion.
Next came the surprise. “I got them a dog this year,” he said. “So little Halo is a new member of that family.” E! News also shared images of the puppy on Instagram, calling the pup “the most adorable four-legged gift.”
Halo is a golden retriever puppy. Maine-based breeder Goldiva Goldens flew her to Los Angeles and announced the move on Instagram. “We’re excited to fly Ms Halo to Los Angeles to Formula 1 Ferrari driver @lewishamilton!!” the breeder wrote.
They also noted that Lewis arranged “a FaceTime for selection and questions about puppy personalities.” Following the choice, his dog trainer of 14 years, Kirstin McMillian, “flew to Maine to pick up Halo.” The little pup was also pictured wearing a racing helmet several sizes too big for its little head.
The new arrival also carries emotional weight. Hamilton’s bulldog Roscoe, a familiar face in the F1 paddock, died in September 2025 after a battle with pneumonia aged 12.
